Kara recommended Far From You to me when I made a note that I loved the UK cover. I think it was something along the lines of OMG LYN REAZ IT!!! My co-blogger usually steers me in the right direction for novels so I took her word and bought the book when she mentioned along the lines of “splintered souls” and “shattered hearts”. Book Review: Far From You by Tess Sharpe

I’m not great at gushing. I’m great at privately crying, curled up into a ball, shedding tears on my pillow. Which is pretty much what I did. This book is heartbreaking. Or at least it was for me. It also covers a number of important issues facing teens today. Actually, not even just teens. Humanity in general. GLBTQ relationships. Healthy sex. Believing/not believing in God.
