Book Review: Here Lies Daniel Tate

It’s always irritating when you are loving the shit out of a book only to get to the end and be disappointed. Seriously, this book is compulsively readable and it’s great, so it may be just me, but I found the ending to be incredibly anticlimactic. But before I get to why, I want to talk about the good stuff. First, we have an unreliable narrator, and if that’s your thing, you’re probably going to love this book. Book Review: All Our Yesterdays by Cristin Terrill

Sometimes books can become a victim of the hype machine. Pretty much everyone that you know loves it, so when you begin to read it, you expect it to blow you away. Listen. I know it is unfair to heap this kind of expectation on any book, but sometimes it is inevitable and impossible to prevent. And that is what happened in the case of All Our Yesterdays. That is what I think, anyway.
