REASONS WHY I WANTED THIS BOOK I love Claire’s writing. The Year of Shadows is one of my favorite books, and after I met her, and found out that she is a fellow North Texan, I just fell in love with her! That cover is totally awesome! Book Review: Winterspell

After reading A Year of Shadows, I was anxious to jump all over Legrand’s newest novel.  I love her books, and the description of her new novel reeled me in like a fish on a hook.  A very very VERY crazy fish on a hook. The cover sent me overbaord and on a frenzy, and the description about a dark retelling of The Nutcracker sent me into insta-lust for this book. My first plan was to write this review:     However, I do not think the internet can handle such an awesome review. So here it goes.   After reading A Year of Shadows, I was very excited to see Cavendish on sale for the Kindle from Amazon.  I bought it, and found it when I was skimming my list of unread books.
