Top Ten Tuesday

TOP TEN TUESDAY IS HOSTED BY THE BROKE AND THE BOOKISH.

While Jamie continues to enjoy her lovely little sweetheart baby (awww!!!), I’m still catching up on all the TTT topics I missed while sick/recovering, or generally just want to revisit.

Book covers – I’ve always loved this topic, and I’m happy to come back to it, since I have added a lot of books since I last completed this one.

Today, I’m sharing the books I bought based on the cover. I was either convinced because of the graphics on the front, or I was persuaded because I couldn’t pass up the lovely art.

Long May She Reign by Rhiannon Thomas – I know this is the year of sci-fi, but I just really REALLY love that cover. I’m such a sucker for cities in a bottle, or a bottle, or any fantasy-inspired trapped/lost city.

Wintersong by S. Jae-Jones – Yes, I bought it because I seriously just can’t stop looking at that cover (I just wish I had loved the book a bit more).

Things We Know by Heart by Jessi Kirby – The heart…awwwwwwww.

Coming Clean by Kimberly Rae Miller – I’m such a sucker for Kindle deals, and this cover is just so…me.

Firstlife by Gena Showalter – This might be a mistake but I just can’t say NO to that cover….

Garden of Thorns by Amber Mitchell – THAT COVER (I am starting to see a trend here).

Dangerous Girls by Abigail Haas – The cover is textured on the sand – it is so awesome!!!

The Book Jumper by Mechthild Gläser – HER DRESS IS A BOOK. DRESS BOOK.

Unbecoming by Jenny Downham – I seriously just love the simplicity of this cover. How adorable.

Just Ella by Margaret Peterson Haddix – I totally bought this because I loved that cover. The color scheme is lovely. <3
