Top Ten Tuesday

THIS WEEK’S TOPIC: Top Ten Books We Enjoyed That Have Under 2000 Ratings On Goodreads

As a reading enthusiast, you are constantly bombarded with books via personal recommendations, reviews, author requests and backlogs. A reader is constantly trying to navigate the landscape of new books and old books for a good balance.

TTT has focused more on underrated books, and I am overly thrilled that this is a discussion that comes up again and again. In a previous topic, we listed books that we personally felt were underrated. Now, Kara and I are presenting books that literally are underrated and overlooked. I understand that books are lobbed at us every day, but the below list is a wonderful primer for anyone wanting to draw attention to books that have just fallen off the radar and need a little more love from us. We strongly encourage our audience to pick up these ten books below, because underrated books need love, too!

I hope some of these books look familiar to everyone, since I have promoted them over and over. I am honestly shocked how many of these books have such a low number of ratings on Goodreads! All of these authors are veterans in the field, and all but one were not independently published. These books are beautiful, and I enjoyed every single one of them. If any of our readers are interested in books that are overshadowed, please consider these titles.

  1. I really enjoyed A Fierce and Subtle Poison. I keep adding books to my TBR pile now because of these lists–LOL! Thanks for the recommendations!
