Top Ten Tuesday

THIS WEEK’S TOPIC: Top Ten Most Anticipated Releases For The Second Half Of The Year

It is hard to believe we are in the second half of this year! I’m still writing 2015 on everything!

At least we have a whole bunch of awesomeness to look forward to, like a whole bundle of holidays, and a schedule of books coming. This week, Maryam and I discuss our top ten most wanted releases for the next six months of 2016.

Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor

Release Date: September 27, 2016

This is my all-time favorite novelist right here, and to hear that we are going back into her imagination is helping me hang on to my sanity. I seriously get so excited when I see this book, I can’t even stand it.

Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo

Release Date: September 27, 2016

I am a tad bit upset that this is only a duology, but I am sure that the final chapter in this epic Grisha-universe series is going to be outstanding. Plus, with the red-edged pages, I’m seriously counting down the days to this release.

Blood Red, Snow White by Marcus Sedgwick

Into White by Randi Pink

I really didn’t think anything of this book at first, but the more I read about the synopsis, the more I am really excited to read this novel! I’m thrilled to see how the author approached the cultural approach with the race swapping. This one looks so promising.

Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake

I’ve been dying to read more from Blake since Anna Dressed in Blood, and the early reviews are getting me pumped. I have always loved this concept, and I am sure Blake is going to blow this out of the park.

Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas

This is one book that I’m definitely super excited for! I cannot wait to see how Aelin progresses on with her journey, and of course I’ll be pretty much in love with anything that Sarah J. Maas writes!

The Midnight Star by Marie Lu

Release Date: October 11, 2016

UM I should probably admit that I have not read The Rose Society yet, BECAUSE I AM SCARED. That’s why I need this book to be released so that I can read both books back to back.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne, John Tiffany

Release Date: July 31, 2016

HI MORE HARRY POTTER. ADULT HARRY POTTER. COOL AS HECK HERMIONE. Of course I am excited. Whether it’s written by J. K. Rowling or not, I will be sure to read this because, obsessive Ravenclaw Potterhead here.
