I am loving all of these beautiful book tags and challenges. It reminds me of my Livejournal days. Anyways, Amber at YA Indulgences lovingly tagged me when I demanded it on Twitter. So, I happily present: Dreams Come True! Lyn does the Cinderella Book Tag!

Border Leaf

Evil Stepsisters:

A book with characters you just hate

St. Clair and Anna from Anna and the French Kiss
These two are just ideal for one another – conceited, self-absorbed and underhanded. Both characters are equally guilty for ruining this novel with their utter crappiness.

Prince Charming:

A book with a gentleman

Jonah Griggs from Jellicoe Road
If I had to pick one guy to pick as Prince Charming, I would totally choose Jonah Griggs. An old grudge doesn’t win out over compassion and a sense of justice.

Cinderella:

A character that is graceful, kind, and defiant

Adele from The Vampire Empire series
She’s poised, she protects her people and her boyfriend, and she is a princess who gets off her ass and saves the day! Adele FTW!

Fairy Godscientistmother:

A character that always has someone looking out for them

Iolanthe Seabourne from The Burning Sky
I know of no other book that has a character as cushioned and protected as Iolanthe, although she doesn’t act like a delicate little princess. She’s a whole level of awesome.

Helpful Creatures:

Something that makes you happy when you’re sad

Book Shopping
I seriously might need some help, but this is one of my favorite things to do when I am down or upset.

Ashes:

A book you didn’t care for

Looking for Alaska
I did not like ONE THING from this book. NOT. ONE. THING.

Pumpkin:

A character with a transformation

Gogu from Wildwood Dancing
One of the best romances/transformations in book history!

Impossible:

A book with an ending you didn’t see coming

Chime
That ending to the main story plot – WHOA.

Just Breathe:

Something that inspires you to be courageous

Review Writing
It takes a lot of courage to put honest, real opinions on the internet, and I see what a lot of my book buddies go through, and all of you just inspire me everyday.

Happily Ever After:

A book with a perfect ending

Ready Player One
Just….so perfect, so climatic, and so sweet! And that small little shock –I had all the feels for this novel.
