Epic Recs, hosted by Amber @ Books of Amber and Judith @ Paper Riot, is a book club/recommendation program/reading challenge where you and your partner recommend a book to one another each month.

This month, Pixie and I both decided to participate and recommended an Epic Rec read to one another.

Lyn’s Pick: This is another pick that I read recently, and I honestly believe this would make a great Pixie book! The story is so compelling and fun, and it is quick to read! Poison Study is such a fun read. I hope she likes it!

Pixie’s Pick:  Most people I know have only read The Book Thief by Markus Zusak (which I also love very much) and have not heard much about his other books. After I read I Am The Messenger a few years back, all I’ve done basically is try to tell everyone to read it. Here was my opportunity to finally get Lyn to and I hope she likes it too!

Are you excited to see the reviews for these titles? Are these some books that you have picked up already?

  1. I have I Am the Messenger in my TBR. I planned on reading it last year, but I never had enough time. It’s in the top TBR, though, so I hope to read it soon. As for Poison Study… it sounds really intriguing. It’s a recent add to my TBR, so I don’t think I’ll read it soon, but some say I will.

    • Poison Study is PERFECT for something light and awesome, like if you just need a new pace in novels.

I am really excited to read I Am the Messenger. I’ve had this book for a while, and I love getting rid of older books on my TBR pile. That is what I love about this feature – it really helps me when someone tells me to read a book.
