If you’re here for the sign-ups, that was posted yesterday.

It’s that time again! How did you do? I did NOT do as well as I wanted to. The holidays were 1000x busier than I thought they’d be, plus we have Mike’s birthday and my sister’s birthday in October and my own birthday in November, so I was really, really busy. I did cover some squares though, but no full bingo.

  1. I had the opposite experience- I got every single square, but I made reading my job (more or less) during those months. Thanks again for this- it really helps me prioritize what of my TBR shelf to read next! 🙂

  2. Ugh, I can totally relate to you with busy holidays. My family came over for dinner on Christmas, so instead of spending a relaxing day off with some books, we were crowded in the kitchen preparing food, lol. But at least you managed to cover some squares! Looks like you read quite a few good books — Where She Went, The Book Thief, Out of the Easy, Lady Thief… I’ve never actually read any of these, but I’ve heard some really amazing stuff about them. 🙂

Anyway, Happy New Year, Bekka! Wishing you all the best with this year’s Bookish Bingo challenge!

  3. I didn’t cover all of the squares either, but I’m so glad I participated because the challenge helped me get a bunch of review copies read. And it was seriously fun (and frustrating!) trying to find books that fit all the topics. I can’t wait to participate again. 🙂

PS: That Native American MC square was SO hard to find a book for.

Negl, the Bingo helped me read some books even though I’m so extremely stressed out IRL that I barely have the motivation to do anything other than going to work and sleeping. I only managed five squares and they’re not a bingo either, but of those that I read, there were three that I wouldn’t have considered otherwise! So thank you for hosting!
