Hey everyone. I am exhausted. It’s been a week since the in-laws moved here and I’ve just been SO TIRED. There have been people at my house so much. We took their damn guinea pig and it makes SO MUCH NOISE. Mike’s been constantly at their house helping them with one thing or another. And for some reason, the crickets we bought for the frogs this week have been insanely noisy – random and unrelated but still, I haven’t slept well in a week due, in part, to them.

On a happier note, I saw Mockingjay Part 1 last night! I just couldn’t wait so we went to the premier. I really liked it! I thought it was very close to the book. I did have some problems, but I outline them in my movie review that goes up on Sunday.

I had a slow book week – that is, until tonight when Harper uploaded a bunch of new titles. So I grabbed a few of those for review, received a gift from my friend Kevin, and bought one thing for myself.

  1. It sounds like your week’s been rough. Too many people around can definitely make a person tired. Especially in-laws I imagine. 😉

That foil edition is gorgeous! Nice on seeing Mockingjay! I probably won’t be able to see it until next month as I still haven’t read the book and I’m low on cash. What can you do though?

Anyway, ow. What a great bunch of review ARCS. 🙂 Made You Up, Emancipated and The Cost of All Things sound really interesting. I hope you like them. I had to check those ones out myself. The Young Elites has such a gorgeous cover. I need to read that as soon as I can.

I hope this week is better for you and you get some rest finally.

  2. OOOoh very nice! I hesitate requesting Crimson Bound! So weary of rejections from EW but then getting approved by the same pubs at NG. It makes no sense whatsoever! lol

Hope you enjoy all you lovely new reads!

My STS will be up tomorrow so be sure to stop by then!

    Have a GREAT day!
