Bekka here! Nanowrimo has officially begun and I cannot be more excited. I’m way ahead of the daily targets, my story is excellent – unfortunately, my writing is a little sub-par, but what can you do. I would say my reading has taken a hit, but honestly I never read anyway, so. Other than Nano starting, it’s been a pretty quiet week here. But I did get a few books I’m really happy about.

For Review
None of the Above by IW Gregorio – There’s just NO YA about intersex individuals so I had to download this one as soon as it became available. I have some questions about the premise, but I’m hoping they’ll be cleared up once I start reading.

Purchased
The Princess in the Opal Mask by Jenny Lundquist – I had no real interest in this one until I bought it for Jesse for her birthday and saw the beautiful cover. Serious cover lust right now.
A Vault of Sins by Sarah Harian – I bought this with a BN credit. I was not the biggest fan of The Wicked We Have Done but I’m really curious about where the series goes. The ending of book 1 was just so open ended.

  1. Bekka if you need someone to read a little of your nano I would love to be a part of it. I have an WIP that I’d competeled this summer in first round edits. I’ll be working on my second round of edits in December when this semester is over

  2. I am so excited to hear that there’s a book being released that features an intersdx individual. I hadn’t heard of this book until just now, but I’m looking forward to learning more about it as it’s a topic close to my heart and is so underrepresented.
