This week’s theme: Places Books Have Made Us Want to Visit

I’ve always has a small case of wanderlust.  I get restless when I’m in one place for a while and I always want to be going somewhere else.  Unfortunately, life doesn’t always allow for this kind of on-the-run feeling I have.  So, I turn to books.  Books have been my window into the wider world beyond my own experiences.  They have given me the opportunity to visit places I may never get the chance to see in real life.  And they have inspired me to one day kick circumstance to the curb and just DO IT.  These are the places I want to visit if I ever have the chance, thanks in part to my own wanderlust, and to the beautiful books that wormed their way into my heart.

Bekka’s Picks

Barcelona: Isla and the Happily Ever After

  1. DoSaB and I was a Teenage Fairy hit the spot. Those two had such biuteeful vistas I wanted to cry. Both of those authors just rock when it comes to writing. I kinda agree with Unearthly too, and the scenery was mostly the only think I liked about the book. It was so different in its depiction of the same place I’ve read about so many times.
