Hi everyone!  This week absolutely FLEW by for me.  I honestly don’t even remember what happened in the beginning of the week because on Wednesday (and some of Thursday) we were at a dealership buying a new car!  I am so, so happy with this purchase, you guys don’t even know.  After six months of dealing with no wheels whatsoever, I am ready to have a car again. I’m ready to stop walking to the grocery store, to be able to visit the library, to be able to go further from my house than the local shopping center, and to finally DO something instead of spending all my time at home.

Now, the books:  This is probably the last haul with book purchases in it for a while, now that I’ve added car/insurance payments to my budget. There will be some growing pains.  But I’m super excited about the books I did buy this week.  And I’m very eager to read the two ARCs I received as well.

  1. Yey car! I definitely hear you about not being able to easily just go to the store when you spontaneously crave something, I’ve gotten a bit crazy when traveling or something without a car D: But yey Hook’s Revenge, I’ve been hearing great things and really need to request it from the library!

I’m curious about what you’ll think of Gone Too Far! Poisoned Apples looks pretty, too.

Have a lovely week, Bekka! <33

  3. Your new car is gorgeous, Bekka! Being without a car is a horrible thing to have to suffer through so I’m glad you won’t have to any longer. 🙂

I want to read Poisoned Apples too. I wasn’t interested at all until rave reviews started popping up on my radar. I’m going to have to check out The Pocket Wife too. I love a good psychological thriller. Enjoy your new reads!
