Hello! I hope you all had a good week!  Mine was great.  My husband got promoted and I guess he gets the “official” call on Monday about it.  He also finally got his license squared away so new car next week!  And besides those awesome things, I’ve just been feeling good.  I was feeling stressed and swamped by blogging (I’ve taken on a LOT of projects since I came to Great Imaginations because I feel like I have a bigger, more interactive platform than I did solo, but at the same time that leads to (totally self inflicted) stress), and ARCs had been kicking my ass.  But Lyn, Kara and I are cooking up some awesome Halloween fun and that’s invigorated my love of blogging again.  And I’ve kind of ignored review copies for the past few weeks and it feels amazing.  I feel like I’m reading and blogging for ME again and I feel so much better.

Because I’ve been reading for me again, I’ve gone ahead and splurged a little on books.  I wanted to catch up on books I might have missed in the past, especially books that are favorites here in the community.  I also bought more of the manga series I’ve been reading, and a few of Kara’s favorites that she’s recommended to me.
