Hey guys!  I have a really exciting giveaway to share with you today.  A couple days ago I went to the Isla and the Happily Ever After launch party at Malaprops in Asheville.   I showed up a little bit late so I didn’t get to hear everything Stephanie had to say, though she had me tearing up at the end when she talked candidly about her experience with depression.  She spoke about her relationship with Isla and how it took her this long the learn the lessons Isla learned in Happily Ever After.  AND she told us a little bit about her upcoming novel, a horror guaranteed to have lots of darkness and death – oh, and a cute boy!

After Stephanie’s speech and Q&A, we lined up to get our books signed.  Worst thing ever:  I was on the LAST PAGE when I left to get to Malaprops so I didn’t even get to finish before I met her!  The line was extremely long (it took about an hour and a half) but the time passed really quickly as we wound our way through the aisles and I got to talk books with my mom, which was a lot of fun.

When I finally got to the table to have my books signed, Stephanie was adorable.  She was soo sweet and remarkably upbeat after having to be “on” for like three hours.  She even recommended some books to my mother!

So, I bought myself a hardcover copy of Anna and the French Kiss and got that signed, along with my copy of Isla.  And for you guys, I have a signed hardcover of Isla and a signed paperback of Anna!

If I could go anywhere… I would want to visit Italy again. I have gone, but it was when I was very little and I don’t remember.

I’d go to Greece. The beaches, the history, the pretty men and all the fresh Mediterranean food? Sign me up!

I wish I could have gone to the release party, though I hope to meet her soon!

I would love to travel Europe, but if I had to get specific, it would be Ireland or Scotland! I just love those two countries so much, there’s something magical and timeless about them. Definitely my first stops if I were to travel in that direction.

    Thanks for the giveaway! 🙂
