I love art. I love making things. I love upcycling old, worn out items into beautiful, new masterpieces. I love going to Pinterest and slobbering over the numerous projects on that cursed site.

So what awesome things can I find on Pinterest? Let’s look!

**WARNING** Books are slightly alerted in these photos.  Just think of it as organ donation for the sake of art.

Book Coat Rack

This is a very cute new way to use damaged or old books that are no longer in use, such as encyclopedias.

Book Page Rose Wreath

This is LOVELY! It is a wonderful way to save waterlogged books or pages ruined by age. You can also use spray paint or watercolors to color the edges.

Book Clutch

SO. AWESOME. Add a strap – BOOM – evening bag.

Literary Fingerprint

Pulp fiction fan, or mystery lover? This is a great way to add a twist to your reading nook.

Book Page Sketches

CALLING ALL ARTISTS! Love to draw? Grab an old dictionary! Not the drawing type? Print it on an inkjet!

Repurposed Holiday Ornaments

Guess what I am going to do for Yule?!

Book Pumpkin and Orange Book Pumpkin

Despite the summer heat, start on your fall crafts now!

Animal Art

Wonderful baby gift for a shower!

Mason Jar Art

Use a candle inside to make it a wonderful votive, or get creative to find a sweet use for this decorated jar!

Wonderful Woven Art

Have any awesome book crafts? Let me know!

  1. I love the coat rack, and the wreath! And the ornaments are really cute too! I’ve made some similar ones before, but I might just have to try making some like those this year for my Christmas tree!

I love all things DIY lol, especially ones using old books/bookish things 🙂

  2. I love DYI bookish things! I tried to attempt making the Rose paper book pages but it was a major fail. So I wish you all the best of luck with those! I’m busy working on the Christmas cards or starting to make them LOL.
