I don’t have too much to report this week.  It was a pretty slow week over here – it took freaking forever to get through.  I had my teenage sister over and we dyed her hair purple.  And my 2nd wedding anniversary was on Monday.  But other than that, business as usual.  Lots of book buying!

For Review
Welcome to the Dark House by Laurie Faria Stolarz – I started this one this week and just no.  I did not like it. I will probably talk about it in a DNF round up or something.

Complicit by Stephanie Kuehn
Smart by Kim Slater
Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein
Who Could That Be at This Hour? by Lemony Snicket
Shadowplay by Laura Lam

The foil editions of the Hunger Games series!  They’re seriously so gorgeous in person, but so hard to photograph.  I only have the first two, because book three isn’t available in the US until September, but if you REALLY want the whole trilogy RIGHT NOW, you can order them all from Waterstones for like $50 w/shipping.

On the blog this week:

Sunday:  Bekka’s review of Complicit
Monday:  Kara reviews JinxTuesday:  Lyn’s favorite, and Bekka’s least favorite, Cover Trends
Wednesday:  Can you guess what books go with these first lines?
Thursday:  Giveaway! Cover reveal of Love and Other Theories
Kara review Tease
Friday:  Lyn’s review of Snow in Summer

Nice haul! I’m pretty excited for Complicit, because apparently it’s a huge mindfuck and I love that 😀 I also really want those HG editions, because they must be so pretty in person. I saw one in a bookstore and it was just beautiful!

  2. Happy late Anniversary! Those foil editions. :O They are just so gorgeous and perfect. OMG I want to buy them, but then again I shouldn’t. But they are just so pretty.
