Hello Wonderful Readers!!

The blog is growing up and changing, shaping into something new and exciting. Since Great Imaginations started, this blog has seen two new bloggers, two new features, more faces, and a lot of wonderful content.  We three  cobloggers got together and decided that the blog needed a complete make over to help brand us as birds of a feather.  Great Imaginations also has a new home on WordPress. As a result of the new changes occuring, we updated our new layout and rolled it out prior to BEA at the end of May.  The place looks more pink, more daring and more flam-boyant (I made myself snort).

To mark the new chapter in our blog’s history, the three of us decided to come together and host a giveaway, and celebrate with everyone who helped make our blog what it is today.  We put our heads together, and decided to share some of our loot we scored from BEA.  The books and swag provided were books that we skimmed and decided to pass on to our readers. We’re also overrun with totes, as well.  Great Imaginations will give not ONE, not TWO, but THREE book packages for three lucky winners!

Alright, enough talk: Let’s see the goods!

  1. I love the fantastic blog look!!! I feel all sunny and happy when looking at the flamingos, books, and palm trees!

I am really excited for Maggie Stiefvater’s upcoming book, Sinner! I am listening to The Raven Boys by her and loving it!

Also, Positive sounds like a touching and powerful memoir… and I really want to like Becca Fitzpatrick’s Black Ice although I wasn’t a fan of Hush, Hush 🙁

Thank you so much for the giveaway!

Tough choice but maybe Black Ice by Becca Fitzpatrick. I wasn’t the biggest fan of Hush, Hush. I still need to read the last book in the series but I’d be interested to read her new book. Thanks and again, great new design! I wish I could seek out a beach now.

I’m most excited for Unmarked by Kami Garcia. I’ve been wanting to read it for a while. Great books in all three lists though 😉

For the mg books, I am most excited for Bad Magic by P. Bosch. I loved the secret series. For the ya books, I’m really excited for On a Clear Day.

  5. I am looking forward to so many of the MG books you’ve selected for the giveaway. I think my children will love Plague of Unicorns and Bad Magic. I wanted to enter all the competitions, but since I had to select one, I thought this would be the best. My son really needs encouragement to improve his reading and these books are so great. Thanks for sharing the goods from BEA with us. 🙂

That is a lot of books. In a weird way I’m the most excited for Black Ice, only because I want to see if it’s an improvement from Hush Hush.

  7. I love the new design! I loved the dragons, too, but the new design is so whimsical and makes me want to drink Mai Tais by the pool. I like the idea behind “birds of a feather.” Thanks for the chance to win some BEA goodies!
