Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga’s Reviews.
It’s been a great week in books! I got a couple for review, and I even made a couple purchases. (I shouldn’t have.) Wahhh-wahhh. For our regular readers, we will be moving to WordPress sometime, hopefully, by the end of this month! And a new design will be following shortly after that. So stay tuned. There are some big changes coming up around here! And just in time for BEA too!
For Review:
For a blog tour with TLC. Thank you to HarperCollins! REALLY excited about this one. I am obsessed with Chernobyl.
Thank you to FirstSecond Books! This one is shorter than I thought it would be!
Great by Sara Benincasa
Thank you for the lovely finished copy, HarperCollins! I will be diving into this one shortly!
Imaginary Girls by Nova Ren Suma
This is for an upcoming Forgotten Fridays readalong with Pixie and Jessie. Looking forward to it, girls!
I’ve wanted this book since I heard about it and saw the cover. It will probably be ages before I can read it, but I am glad I have it!

Midnight Thief by Livia Blackburne
Mortal Danger by Ann Aguirre
Bekka here. 🙂  I am a little embarrassed by this haul.  I kind of went overboard on the spending and I seriously have to cut down.  This is me declaring an official book-buying ban (excepting pre-orders already made) from today until after BEA.  I need to be held accountable.
For Review
In the Shadows by Kiersten White and Jim Di Bartolo – I took a quick glance at this one and holy crap, you guys, it’s absolutely beautiful.
I had a Nook gift card, some e-book settlement money, and of course, I blew up my wallet, too.

Red Rising by Pierce Brown
Beautiful Lies by Jessica Warman

  1. Oooo, I’m excited for the move and new design, definitely have to keep a look out for that girls.
I’ve heard great things about All the Boys so far, so hopefully when you get to it you’ll love it Kara!
I have to say Bekka, I got Gone Girl this week too, there must be something in the air, and I can really relate to buying too many books, I’m not banning myself, but chilling out on them instead.
Great collection girls and hope you enjoy reading them! 🙂

  2. Moving and a new design, exciting! I can’t wait to see what you girls are up to 😀

I’ve heard some mixed things about Great, but everyone I follow has been raving about To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. It does sounds good! Midnight thief & Mortal danger are both high on my wish list.

I need to read Gilded ashes 😀 Cruel beauty is one of my favorite books from this year. I also need to get started in The false prince, sounds like a good story.

    Happy reading!

Oh how exciting that you are making the move to WordPress. I am going to stick with blogger for now since I don’t really have the time to get used WP if I make the switch. I really want to get To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. It sounds like a fantastic book. I have Mortal Danger for review as well and can’t wait for it.

Bekka, OMG so many awesome books!! Last week I had a big haul with books I got with my ebook settlement money. I have been trying to be better about not buying so many books too. I did get Gilded Ashes though since I loved Cruel Beauty.

I hope you girls enjoy all your new books and HAPPY EASTER!!
