Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga’s Reviews.
I thought about doing another vlog, but I just don’t have it in me to go to all that trouble this week. Because then I have to edit it, put on makeup, yada yada yada, and I just wanted to take a small break from that. I did get some books though, but I went back to the old way of taking a picture. Woot!
As far as my week goes, it was a pretty easygoing one for me this week. Back to editing, this time it’s Donners of the Dead by Karina Halle. You guys have to read this one if you are into horror because I think you will love it. I did that Mon.-Wed. and then I worked on some of my reading and watching the Olympics! That’s right, I don’t know how much reading I will get done over the next couple weeks because the Winter Olympics is something I really, really look forward to. I have since I was a little girl. I used to skate around in my basement and jump like a figure skater.
Okay, so on to the books?

This week was a mess, but I’m surprisingly not feeling too down about it.  Gummy has been sick, ever since she got fixed.  First, her mouth swelled up, her lower lip was the size of a grape.  Then she started having some bleeding in a… sensitive area, so she had to go to the vet.  At the vet, she got another round of vaccinations, so when she came home she wasn’t feeling great.  But now, a couple days later and a few doses of medicine in her, she’s feeling so much better.  She’s one sensitive little baby, but hopefully we can take a break from the ailments for a little while.  Other than that, this week has been all about rereading Harry Potter and Olympics, Olympics, Olympics!

As far as books go, I had an AWESOME week. The other day Where Silence Gathers came up on NetGalley so I took to the twitter-waves to and went ON AND ON about it until I got approved for it!  I also got a preorder and a few other books for review!

Scarlet by AC Gaughen (I kept forgetting to include this! I got it a couple weeks ago.)
Cress by Marissa Meyer

  1. Awesome books! I jumped for joy when I saw you had Complicit, so I immediately went to NetGalley to request it. Don’t know how I missed that! I got In the End as well, and my preorder of Cress showed up.! Thanks for sharing! Here’s my STS.

These books have covers. I like that books have covers.

    I hope Gummy feels better!

Yo, I need to read Scarlet too. I seem to have good luck with Scarlet books, like Gone With The Wind and Marissa Meyer’s Scarlet. Time for Robin Hood Scarlet.
