stacking the shelves

Welcome to Stacking the Shelves. Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga at Tynga’s Reviews. This is where we showcase books we have received or bought during the week.

We’re not dead – take our pictures off of the milk cartons!  Do not pay the ransom! We’re still here!
I really miss Kara, since she is still running around time.  For myself, I am attempting to snag a temp job to wait out the rest of summer while we shack up in a hotel. Hotel living is, how can I say, less than fun.  So is the crushing depression that comes with uncertainty of the future.  I don’t want to focus on the negative – I want to point out that our giveaway has earned us a large amount of new followers – hey new readers!
Kara doesn’t have anything to share this week, book-wise, but I do have some Kindle books to share.

On Monday – Cover Madness Giveaway Hop! (enter!)
Tuesday, Kara posted a blog tour (including giveaway) of Baby and Bump by Brooke Moss.
Wednesday, both of us share our WoW finds – The Well’s End by Seth Fishman and The Weight of Souls by Bryony Pearce.

One Thursday, Lyn reviewed a Novella, Nordic Fairies by Saga Berg.  She sadely gave it 2 stars.

And on Friday, Kara reviews The Wall by William Sutcliffe.  She graced the book with 4 stars!
Links We Love:
Wendy, K and Tonya share their reading habits at The Midnight Garden – I might have to ask permission to copy this post for us!
USA Today posts an article about the link between reading and memory as a person ages – we’re going to have Total Recall, everyone!
Finally, LeVar Burton discusses the 30th anniversary (!!!) of Reading Rainbow!
