Stacking the Shelves #15

Posted May 5, 2013 by Kara in Lyn, Stacking the Shelves / 16 Comments

Welcome to Stacking the Shelves. Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga at Tynga’s Reviews. This is where we showcase books we have received or bought during the week.

Depression? Check.  Unemployment? Check. Anxiety? Check.  I’m weak. I broke down and drug myself into one of my favorite used bookstores to ease my aching heart.  The Viking section was well stocked as well. I hit the jackpot this week!

I found some other books I have been craving, and a recent release that caught my attention as well.  Nothing new in the Kindle field this week.

Pandora Hearts! I haven’t read this manga but I’ve seen it around and the art has always caught my eye. However, I’m not one to read shounen so I haven’t delved into it.

I hope you enjoy all your books, I actually haven’t heard of any of them lol.

That board game in the book looks awesome!! And dude!! Sticker books are always a win! I hope you like The Last Academy, I’ve heard mixed things on that one. Great haul this week!

  3. OMG THE VIKING GAME BOARD I SERIOUSLY LOVE THAT! I haven’t heard of any of the Viking books, but I hope you enjoy the manga one and I’m glad you finally found The Saga of Erik the Viking 🙂 I love the cover of The Last Academy but I’ve seen iffy things so I hope you like it

    Happy reading, Lyn!

    • Thanks! I am a little worried about The Last Academy, but I think if I go in knowing what I am getting myself into, then I shouldn’t be too disappointed.
