Ten Characters I Would Crush On If I Were Also A Fictional Character

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.  This week’s topic: Ten Characters I Would Crush On If I Were Also A Fictional Character.

IT IS HERE!!  I NEVER THOUGHT THIS TOPIC WOULD ARRIVE!! I GET TO LAY CLAIM TO MY FICTIONAL BOYFRIENDS!

Aragorn from The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien – Movie, book, video game, I don’t care.  Love fills my heart when I think about the lost king.

Fisher from And All the Stars by Andrea Host – Mysterious, selfless, and a tad on the dark side, Fisher snagged me as quickly as the storyline.

Stephen from The Name of the Star by Maureen – I love a guy who requires a little work on my part.  Stephen is worth the read from this series.

Peeta from The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins – Sweet, caring, and can bake.  The last part really makes him a winner in my book.

Po from Graceling by Kristin Cashore – I wasn’t crazy about the book, but Po hit my list when I closed the cover.  Adorable and charming, I instantly took a liking to this unlikely hero.

Christian from the Unearthly Series by Cynthia Hand – Yes, I am Team Christian.  I am very protective over this boy.  I adored everything about him.  I;m trying to keep this spoiler free, so I’ll just end it there.

Raffe from Angelfall by Susan Ee – Attitude! Love it! We could get along!

The Darkling from Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo – I know, I KNOW! I can’t help it! The man is just RAWR!

Prince Kai from Cinder by Marissa Meyer – No offense to Cinder, but the Prince made this book pop.  I’d be his princess any day!

Gareth from the Vampire Empire series by Clay and Susan Griffith – I am sure that most of you saw this coming from a mile away.  I love plugging this book, and I love getting into online fights with other readers about getting dibs on Gareth (I’d totally win).

Which guys topped your list this week? Leave me a link!

  1. Yes to Aragorn! I saw the movies before I read the book and seriously, I was in love. I’m not sure what exactly it was about him that drove me crazy. But yes. Mhmm… πŸ˜›

  2. Amy

Awesome picks!! I agree with Peeta, Christian (Even though I am Team Tucker, I like Christian too!), and Prince Kai. I would also add Tod from The Soul Screamers series to my list if I had one. πŸ˜‰

  3. I’m with you on Po and the Darkling, though I’m not sure if the Darkling and the term boyfriend really fit together. lol.

I did mention Kai, but I’d take Wolf before him any day!

    • The Darkling was a character that you just love to hate, and hate to love! I still feel such a weak spot for him.

I haven’t read Scarlett yet (ARG!)

    • You know, I do enjoy Mal. He is such a sweetheart.

LOL, I seem to have found the Gale vein here – I didn’t realize there were so many Gale fangirls!

  4. Oh Fisher, yes. He was special. And Christian. Sigh. SIGH. And The Darkling was too awesome to have been given the end he was given in the first book. I’m a bit bitter and I haven’t read the second one. I’m not too keen on Mal because in Korean, Mal means horse so every time I hear Mal, I think Horse. And well…yes. Haha.

  5. Definitely Peeta. He’s just a cutie and I’d love a man who could bake. Definitely would make my list.

I’d also want Shane from Wicked Game by Jeri Smith-Ready. He’s a bit stuck in the nineties, loves music, and is kind of awkward. Perfect. πŸ™‚

  6. *swoon* a BIG YES to Aragorn & Peeta ♥♥ yum πŸ˜€ VA, Cinder, Graceling, Shadow and Bone, Angelfall and Uneartly are all ones I must get into soon…especially since I own book 1 in most of those >.<

    Excellent choices all around!!

  7. Super late comment, but I LOVE THIS LIST. Haha. Raffe, Prince Kai, ARAGORN and the Darkling… Oooh. πŸ™‚ And Christian of course! You’re not alone on that team. Though.. πŸ™ ANYWAY. Nice list!
