Welcome to Stacking the Shelves. Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga at Tynga’s Reviews. This is where we showcase books we have received or bought during the week.
This week it’s another baby haul and a short post. I almost decided not to do one but then I didn’t want to post another book review because we already have so many posted this week and next, and I skipped a meme do to a blog tour this past week, so I just decided to do it anyway. Sorry for the ramble, but I am running on like 4 hours of sleep and I am kind of incoherent.
So I got a package of books from Candlewick Press, a children’s publisher that I just started working with. They are awesome, by the way. And they publish quality stuff, so there’s that too. They’ve won a LOT of awards in the past. Now hold on and let me rustle up that photo.
These are all from Candlewick. so thank you for those!! I’ve already read Feral Nights (I just finished it last night) and it was a lot of fun. Not perfect and not very deep, but it was humorous and enjoyable as a mindless read. I’ll be reading the others just as soon as I can.
Feral Nights by Cynthia Leitich Smith
Black Helicopters by Blythe Woolston
Plague in the Mirror by Deborah Noyes
So, little haul, but I am really looking forward to these. Did you get anything good this week? Leave me a link and I’ll try to come check out your posts.
