Stacking the Shelves #32

Posted March 2, 2013 by Kara in Kara, Stacking the Shelves / 17 Comments

Welcome to Stacking the Shelves! Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Team Tynga’s Reviews. This is where we showcase books we have received or bought during the week.

So this week I got ZERO physical books. I am expecting a few giveaway wins and a book for a blog tour but they probably won’t be here for a couple more weeks. So it’s gonna be SLOW around here.

But, BUT, the Kindle Daily Deals were awesome for me this week. And Scholastic and I made beautiful music together. So there is that. Unfortunately, you get no photo of books this week. But I will give you a photo of a manatee crossing. Why? Because I live in Florida and I can.

E-Books for Review:

A Corner of White by Jaclyn Moriarty

Thank you to Scholastic and NetGalley for both of these.

Honolulu by Alan Brennert

Daughters of the River Huong by Uyen Nicole Duong

The Painted Girls by Cathy Marie Buchanan

These were all Kindle Deals this week and I got them all for 2.99 or less. I am obsessed with Kindle Daily Deals, y’all! Some of these books I’ve been wanting for a long time!

So, a little slower week for me this time, but still a fun one! What did you get! Leave me a comment!

  1. Amy

A corner of White sounds really good. I love the cover for The Summer of Moonlight Secrets too. Great books this week Kara!!

  2. Manatees are cool, I saw one at Sea World when I went a few years ago.

ALSO. I wish I lived in Florida. It’s too damn cold here.
I am kicking myself for not buying The Painted Girls — I hope you end up loving it though!

  3. Tiny hauls are always a good thing. I’ll take manageable pile any day. I need to read Painted Girls and A Corner of White comes highly recommended as well.

    Have a great week, ladies!

  4. Wow, I love your blog! I just had to follow. 🙂 I’m also really looking forward to reading That Time I Joined the Circus. Happy reading!

You were getting a weird comment, but it said no. SO FINE.

These pretty much all look awesome. Tell me if I need to read them, slave!
