Stacking the Shelves #19

Posted December 1, 2012 by Kara in Stacking the Shelves / 38 Comments

Welcome to Stacking the Shelves. Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga at Tynga’s Reviews. This is where we showcase books we have received or bought during the week.

Well, it was another slow week for me. So slow that I wasn’t even going to DO a STS post this week until I received a NetGalley approval at the last minute. I thought about letting it roll over to next week, but I am a little light on posts this week so I decided to go ahead and put it up anyway.

I’m really excited about this book too. Originally I was not even going to request it, but then I saw a couple reviews and they were raving about how great it was, so I decided to go ahead and do it.

So I want to say thank you to Atria Books and Netgalley for my copy of:

The Sea of Tranquility by Katja Millay
It may be awhile until I get to this one because it is not being published until June, but I am looking forward to it anyway. REALLY looking forward to it. If I can find time, I may bump it.
Leave me a comment and I will come visit your Stacking the Shelves posts. Until next week, happy reading!

  2. I just read Keertana’s review of this a mere five minutes ago and I can’t wait to read it, too! I hope you enjoy, Kara. 🙂 There have been quite a bit of gushing and fangirling associated with this novel…

  3. I’ve been hearing some great things about this one. It does sound good. I love the girl character’s name, too.
I’m late on my STS this week so I’ll probably post it tomorrow. Hope you enjoy this book when you get to it!

  4. Hehe, I feel like EVERYONE picked up Sea of Tranquility this week–and with god reason, I find it’s Goodreads rating mind boggling, especially when it’s been backed up by so many fantastic reviews.

    Happy reading!

  5. Sam

My friend reviews on Goodreads for this title have been full of 4 and 5 stars. I’m reading it very soon and cannot wait. I hope you enjoy it too!

  6. You are going to LOVE this book!!! I kind of wasn’t sure what to make of it from the synopsis, but it ended up rocking my world. Enjoy! 🙂

Thanks for stopping by my blog!
