In My Mailbox #9

Posted September 18, 2011 by Kara in Uncategorized / 7 Comments

Welcome to the 9th edition of What great crap did I get in my mailbox this week? In My Mailbox is hosted by the lovely Kristi, better known as The Story Siren.
You should know that I haven’t done an IMM in a few weeks. The first week was because I didn’t have much to talk about. And I believe that was the same thing that happened the following week. Then, all of a sudden I got lambasted with books, books, and more books. And now I have a huge post to do, and to be honest, getting this all together has been one big huge clusterf*ck. Because of that, I am going to try to do IMM’s every week to save myself from work. Here’s a picture of the physical books I’ve got, plus my new Kindle. I got that this week also.

It’s my second Kindle. I had a small accident with the first one, and thankfully Amazon came to my rescue. I appreciate that so much. Amazon, you have great customer service. Now if you just get your Amazon Associate links fixed I will love you forever. And yes, that is my fat dog in the background.

Not too bad on the books won, because I haven’t won a thing lately. My good luck went out the window! I actually don’t mind, because as you can see, I will be extremely busy and may go blind before I finish what I have.
Bought:

I bought the rest of the Relic Master series by Catherine Fisher. I read Book One and loved it, so I bought the next three books in the series and now I own the whole thing. Those are in the picture I took.

Some of those don’t have pictures through Goodreads available. So I did the ones I could. But the links are there. Obviously, based on bought books this week, you can tell I bring a lot of it on myself. Truthfully, I wouldn’t have it any other way. That being said, I am on a book buying ban for at least a month. I have one more shipment already on its way here and after that I am done for awhile. I really need to get caught up on my own shelves and all the books I have for review.
So, what’s in your mailbox this week?

  1. Wow, those are many fantastic books. 🙂 Some of these are on my to-read list as well, others on my wishlist. 🙂 I hope you enjoy all of them.

    Have a lovely week,

  2. You know me, I don’t read, but I sure like to look at the pretty covers. Hahahaha! I love seeing what cover trends are popping up each month. Thanks for sharing!
